First Use

1. Rinse the bottle and lid with clean water.
2. Insert the Squeeze Filter – Ahlstrom module into its receiver in the lid as shown in the quick-start guide.
3. Fill the bottle with clean tap water.
4. Squeeze water through the nozzle for about 60 seconds to flush out initial fines (per OEM guidance).
5. Refill and start normal use.

Daily Use

• Fill from treated taps, refill ATMs, gym and office dispensers, or trusted springs that are not known to be unsafe.
• Make sure the nozzle is fully closed before tossing Flex into a bag.
• For plain drinking water only – do not squeeze juice, energy drinks or hot water through the filter. You can pour such drinks into a glass separately if you want to use Flex as a plain bottle (with filter removed).

Filter Life

• Rated for up to 150 L per filter (depends on water quality & usage).
• Heavy users (training, routes, daily refills) should plan for about 2–3 months per filter.
• Signs it’s time to change:
  • Squeezing feels noticeably harder than before
  • Taste or smell changes compared to fresh performance
• Replace only with official Ultra Clear Squeeze Filter – Ahlstrom modules compatible with Flex.

Cleaning

• Bottle body: Wash regularly with mild dish soap and water; rinse well.
• Lid & nozzle: Hand-wash; avoid harsh chemicals or scouring pads.
• Filter module: Rinse externally and flush with clean water; do not wash with soap or detergents.

Storage

• If you won’t use the filter for more than a week:
  • Remove the filter, shake off excess water, place in a sealed bag/container and store in the refrigerator.
• Store the bottle itself dry with the lid open to prevent odour build-up.
