At the core of Truva Go is an Ahlstrom electro-adsorptive filter inside a protective shell, connected to the drinking straw.

As water is pulled through the straw:

1. Pre-filter support layer
   • Helps capture sediments, rust and fine particles.
2. Ahlstrom electro-adsorptive media
   • Uses a charged fiber matrix to attract and hold many viruses and bacteria in suitable low-turbidity water.
   • Tested to in independent Labs reduce selected heavy metals such as nickel, lead and mercury under defined lab conditions.
3. Final support & flow stabilizer
   • Helps keep flow smooth so sipping feels natural.

💡 Note on the “Filter Pull”: Because this is a high-performance electro-adsorptive filter (not just a hollow straw), the first few sips require a stronger pull than a regular bottle. This is the feel of advanced filtration working with every sip.

• Twist straw + filter shell gently into the lid until it stops. Do not over-tighten or force.

First use

1. Rinse the bottle and straw with clean water.
2. Assemble the straw + filter shell (see below).
3. Wash the filter in running water for 1 min (60 secs) to flush out initial fines (per OEM guidance).
4. Refill and start enjoy your first sip.
5. When not using filter, store in a sealed bag in the refrigerator to preserve the filter media’s effectiveness.

Straw + filter shell assembly (very important)

• The filter cartridge sits inside a white shell, as shown in product photos.
• Align the assembled module with the port in the lid.
• Push in and gently twist until it locks in place.

Do not force or over-tighten.
Twist only until it stops. Over-tightening can damage the seal or connection.

Daily use

• Fill from city taps, refill ATMs, office coolers or trusted springs that are not known to be unsafe.
• Close the lid fully before putting the bottle in a bag.
• For plain water only. Important: Do not run juice, soda, or hot water through the filter, as this will damage the media and void the warranty.

Filter life

• Rated for up to 150 L per filter (usage and water quality dependent).
• Track your usage: At 1.5L daily, plan to replace your filter every 3-4 months. Visible signs include noticeably harder sipping or changes in taste/smell
• Replace only with official Ultra Clear Truva Go filter modules.

Cleaning

• Bottle body: wash regularly with mild dish soap; rinse well.
• Straw & lid: hand-wash; avoid harsh chemicals or scouring pads.
• Filter shell: rinse externally only – do not use soap or detergents on the filter media itself.
